Background: Looking for a contractor and/or contract team to (1) learn its current backend technology systems and how those systems power its billing and subscription management services, reporting infrastructure, and application APIs; (2) to maintain, troubleshoot, and fix various system issues with an emphasis on reported billing & subscription problems; (3) to build new system integrations with business partners, including needed reporting; and (4) to maintain and develop application APIs to support Daily Burn’s consumer-facing Web and mobile products.

Services and Project Objective: Maintenance of existing billing & subscription and infrastructure systems to ensure error-free, continuous availability of streaming service. Plus, development of new system integrations and application APIs to support the client consumer product roadmap.

Deliverables: ● Embed with a cross-functional team located in NYC ● Document existing application infrastructure ● Support existing software including development of enhancements, defect resolution, determining and resolving performance issues, debugging, upgrading, deployment and migration, as needed ● Design and build backend APIs for a variety of client applications, as needed ● Application performance tuning and optimization

Skills & experience required: ● Web-based software architecture ● Ruby and/or golang ● Cloud infrastructure and service management ● Strong problem solving skills
