Atlantic Money is building focused financial services for serious customers.
Our team today is anchored by veterans of the fintech space, including product, engineering, business, and operational talent from Robinhood, TransferWise, and Tinkoff Bank. We’re excited to leverage what we’ve learned from our past experience to build a next-generation fintech company.
Our Engineering team is based in St. Petersburg, composed of our VP of Engineering and two Software Engineers.
We write application code in Go and host infra on AWS. Our architecture is based in microservices within Kubernetes, and we use Postgres, Kafka, and Redis. We believe that there is no silver bullet, and we aim to use the optimal tool for each task.
As a growing company, we think speed to market is important, but only while maintaining low technical debt. We care about investments like testing to drive quality, and design our systems to scale across zones and regions.
We work in a low-ego, high-ownership, customer-focused environment. We win together and we learn from mistakes together.
Your day to day work will include:
Engineering a robust financial system that can be relied on to manage people’s money
Making decisions that balance between a need to move quickly and minimize maintenance cost, versus building a reliable and scalable infrastructure
Helping to design a tech stack that best serves the needs of customers and the company
Great coding skills, preferably in Go
Experience building products and services- more complex the better
You worked with service-oriented architecture and microservices already
Strong skills in relational databases, Postgres preferred
Familiarity with NoSQL, knowledge of NewSQL would be great
You have been using CI/CD pipelines and you know a thing or two about containers
If you have been working on fintech products already it's a big plus.
What we offer
Ownership and crucial role in building a great product from scratch
Equity in the company
Generous tech budget to set up your workstation as you need
Fully remote work (GMT-GMT+3)
Daily lunch subsidy
Private Medical Insurance
